① Research and development of special impact resistant hard product granules. In terms of hard products, the research center can develop specialized granules and powders for users based on their requirements and product standards, such as granules for mobiles power sliding contact wire sheaths.
② Development of composite elastomer materials. By utilizing the high melt strength and simple manufacturing process of Weipren, composite functional elastic materials are developed for use in the fields of automobiless, canopies, films, and medical devices, such as automotive water pipe sheaths, tents, and medical device sleeves.
③ Research on the protective rubber material of Yaxing Weipren cable sheath. Weipren, as a special rubber with excellent flame retardant and weather resistance, has been widely used in cable sheaths and household power lines. At present, Yaxing has developed various cable sheath adhesives with Weipren as the main material, which have been widely applied to different types of cables. The products have excellent performance and all indicators meet or exceed national or industry standards. At present, the research center can also develop formulas and produce higher end products according to customers' special requirements.
④ Development of steel wire reinforced hydraulic hose. Steel braided pipes are high-end products in the rubber hose industry, with requirements for pressure resistance, oil resistance, cold resistance, and pulse resistance. The steel wire reinforced hydraulic hoses in the United States are mostly produced using chlorinated polyethylene. Many of the Weipren exported by Yaxing are used to make hoses, while in China, resource scarce and expensive NBR and CR are used for production. To this end, Yaxing Research Center and Shenyang Rubber Research Institute have collaborated to jointly develop steel braided tubes with outer, middle, and inner adhesives all using Weipren, opening up the application field of Weipren in high-pressure oil resistant rubber hoses. At present, a large number of weipren have been used to replace NBR and CR, promoting a significant cost reduction in the rubber hose industry and generating huge economic benefits.
⑤ Develop automotive rubber hoses. Weipren has a series of excellent properties that can well meet the requirements of automotive hoses, such as oil cooling pipes, power steering pipes, brake pipes, etc. around the engine compartment. Its demanding oil and heat resistance environment requires extremely high rubber performance, and chlorinated polyethylene has outstanding performance in this regard. Currently, chlorinated polyethylene is widely used in the production of such general automotive hoses at home and abroad. At present, the focus of research and development has been placed on the matching of high-end sedans. Therefore, the development of Weipren automotive hoses will bring huge economic benefits.
⑥ Development of conveyor belts. Weiprne has excellent weather resistance and excellent flexural flexibility, making it very suitable for use as a conveyor belt, especially for heat-resistant conveyor belts for outdoor use and flame-retardant conveyor belts for coal mines, which is currently a popular topic. So Weipren replaced CR and EPDM as the main types of adhesive used in tape manufacturing.
⑦ Research on the application of Weipren in other rubber products. One is the development of automotive sealing strips. The research center has developed Weipren automotive sealant that meets performance standards and is used in the production of automotive sealing strips, replacing EPDM rubber. Its performance meets the standard requirements. The second is the research and development of small sealing components for factories. We use Weiprne produced by Yaxing Company to manufacture various rubber small parts, including formula design and mold design, to meet the needs of users. These products mainly include sealing gaskets and elastic gaskets for couplings.
